How it works

General

CSUR le Marché acts like a middle-man between the producers and the consumers who are members of this Coop. The members who are producers advertise their products on the CSUR le Marché's website to allow the consumers to see what is offered and place their orders.

In order to provide a full range of organic products, the CSUR le Marché offers some items which are currently sourced from outside of our region. This allows the health-conscious consumer an opportunity to purchase a larger variety of grocery items in one place.

Each week, there is a specific period to place your order. Members are invited to place their orders on-line. The products which are ordered are then delivered to the CSUR le Marché's main distribution center in Rigaud. Members are invited to volunteer to help separate the products into individual orders. These orders are then distributed to the consumer members according to their chosen distribution center during the collection period.

Access to the Wholesaler

Organic products which are offered through this service can be from distributors of Quebec or elsewhere. We have decided to purchase from them due to the quality and diversity of the products offered compared to what is presently offered in our region. Also, by including these wholesalers and distributors , we can offer a full range of products which allows you access to purchase through CSUR le Marché locally including a wide variety of organic products.

Registration

From the website www.marche.csur.cain the upper right corner, click on Becoming a member. This will ask you to fill out the on-line form. A confirmation email will be sent to you in which you will find a link to click on in order to complete your registration.

Prior to placing your first order, you need to have read the Member's Guidebook, completed and signed the membership to the Coop CSUR ( includes the food service ). Also, you need to have paid your dues to be a member of the Coop. This includes a $10 fee to adhere to the Coop CSUR for membership and a one-time fee of $50 to gain access to the food service. This fee of $50 is refundable if you one day choose to leave the Coop.

Opening a Session

From the invitation to orderemail received on Thursday, you can click on Pour commander” which will bring you to the CSUR le Marché website. You can also click on the home page, on the upper right hand side to log into your account which opens a session.

Period in Which to Order

You can place your order from Friday to Monday. You can keep adding to the order at anytime in this period. This is a weekly occurrence. During this period, the consumer can choose the products they wish to order.

Collection Period

On Wednesday or Thursday following the now closed ordering period, the producers/ wholesalers will deliver their products to the CSUR Le Marché premises at 98 Saint-Jean-Baptiste Est in Rigaud. Members are then invited to come collect their order between 14:00 and 19:30 on the Thursday. The consumers will have chosen upon placing their order, their desired collection location.

Viewing Products offered and Ordering

On the homepage, two icons are available to view the products. One is products which allows you to view by category and the other is producerswhich allows you to view according to producers. Both of these options offer a search box by keyword (s).

To select a product, click on the icon beside it. Also, to remove the item from your order, you would click on the item. Please note that only items available that week will have an icon. Once you have chosen a product, a shopping cart will appear on the upper right hand corner of the screen, under which your total will appear.

Printing the Bill

We ask that that you print your bill once the period to order is closed, at the earliest Monday morning. The reason being is that once the ordering period is closed, identification codes are added to the bill in order to facilitate the retrieval of the items when you come get your order. Printing it too early will mean that the codes will not have been entered on your copy. At this time, this is not crucial as the volunteers will have a list of the codes available to them.

Collecting your Order

To collect your order, come by the location that you have chosen when placing your order.

The Automatic Payment Plan is recommended for now. You will be required to submit your banking information prior to your first order to authorize the Coop CSUR to do an automatic debit from your account. This will occur every time you place an order. This method is mandatory for all of our members using CSUR Le Marché. We are presently evaluating other payment methods prior to making them available to the members.

DO NOT FORGET TO BRING YOUR BAGS! ( We have no bags on-site. )

If you are not satisfied with a product or service, please let us know via email at infomarche@csur.ca.

You can consult the Member's guide for more details.
